CATERING
On a set, food and drinks are provided by film catering (sometimes known as craft services). They provide drinks and snacks but do not handle meals. Every set is different and usually, when things are going wrong, people tend to make mistakes, it is usually food which proves as a balancing act. We are attuned to these situations, we have experience in high-stress situations where food is involved on a set.
1. Basic Crew Package
Ideal for small shoots or day setups
Breakfast: Poha, Upma, Idli-Sambar, or Parathas with yogurt and pickles
Lunch: Simple vegetarian thali (two vegetables, dal, rice, chapati, and salad)
Snacks: Tea, coffee, biscuits, and assorted fresh fruits
2. Standard Production Package
Suitable for medium-sized crews on long shooting days
Breakfast: Selection of South Indian and North Indian items (like idli, dosa, parathas) with chai and coffee
Lunch: Vegetarian options (two main curries, dal, rice, roti, salad, and curd)
Snacks: Sandwiches, samosas, assorted pakoras, tea, and coffee
Dinner: Light meals with vegetable pulao, khichdi, and options for other cuisine vegetarian dishes
3. Director's Choice Deluxe Package
A premium package for high-end productions
Breakfast: Continental and Indian breakfast buffet (fruit platters, yogurt, cereals, pancakes, parathas, poha, and idli)
Lunch: Full buffet with multiple vegetarian options (three main dishes, biryani, breads, assorted salads, and desserts)
Snacks: Gourmet snack spread (cut fruits, juices, mocktails, canapés, and traditional snacks)
Dinner: Special three-course meal (soup, main course with multiple curries, rice, breads, and dessert)
4. Night Owl Package
Perfect for late-night shoots or overnight filming
Midnight Snack: Rolls, sandwiches, instant noodles, or khichdi
Tea/Coffee Station: Available throughout the night
Early Breakfast: Simple items like muffins, toast, and fruits to start the morning fresh
5. Customized Meal Plans
Tailored menus for dietary restrictions or specific preferences
Options include gluten-free, vegan, low-calorie, and regional cuisine requests
